Small houses and a handful of villas tucked into the trees along the beach road. Quiet, dark at night, monkeys in the morning. You can walk to Lola's and the beach access. This is where we are.

Hacienda Pinilla
5–15 min cart to several beaches
A large gated community with golf, a beach club, paved and gravel roads, and everything from condos to big private homes. Very easy cart terrain and the calmest beach on the coast (Mansita) inside the gates.
Families, groups wanting amenities and security
Playa Negra & Los Pargos
20 min cart south
Surf-focused, more rustic, more affordable. Small hotels, casitas and rental homes on dirt roads near the reef break. Great food scene for its size.
Surfers and budget-conscious travelers
Villa Real & inland
15 min cart inland
Local neighborhoods with long-term rentals and a few vacation homes. Cheaper, closer to groceries, farther from sand. You'll want wheels every day.

The larger of the two. Good for two couples or a family, same walk to the sand, same easy hand-off — we meet you at the house with the cart and boards.
